Movement context, with clear limits.

Understand the distinction between today's Visitor gate history and the future direction for deployment-governed live movement context.

Why it matters

Live Visitor Tracking, in context.

Knowing that a Visitor checked in does not establish their present location. A community can easily overinterpret an entry record as a continuous tracking signal. Prospective deployments need a clear account of what is observed, what is inferred and what is simply unavailable.

The Estalink approach

A considered way forward.

Estalink's current Visitor workflows record governed arrivals and departures. The live-tracking direction is separate: it would require approved location sources, purpose limitations, consent where applicable and explicit visibility boundaries. Neither a QR credential nor a numeric fallback code is a location transmitter.

The intended value is better operational context where a legitimate deployment supports it. Any future map would need to distinguish current observations from stale or missing signals. It should complement the authoritative gate lifecycle, not silently update a visit, decide someone has left or broaden access because a device appears in a particular place.

The conceptual journey

From context to the next step.

  1. Start with the visit

The existing host and Estate context remain authoritative for the invitation. A tracking integration must not manufacture a new visitor identity or change that ownership.

  2. Agree the observation model

A future deployment would define permitted signals, observation periods and who may view them. There is no implied background GPS collection in the current app.

  3. Present uncertainty

A useful view would identify signal freshness and limitations. A missing observation should not be represented as a verified departure or security incident.

  4. Navigate to the right action

People use the applicable gate or incident workflow for decisions. A map remains context and cannot close a visit or autonomously dispatch an Officer.

Capability focus

What connects here.

  • Clear gate-history versus location distinction
  • Deployment-governed observation direction
  • Freshness and visibility considerations
  • Visitor lifecycle connection
  • Human-led operational follow-up

Designed for people

Clear responsibilities.

  • Authorized Security teams
  • Estate operations planners
  • Hosts through an approved future scope

Access Management explains current check-in/checkout. Geo-Fencing introduces future zone context. Privacy and retention would need to be established for each approved tracking deployment.

Estate AI-OS relationship

Insight without taking authority.

Advisory intelligence could help interpret permitted movement context. It cannot convert uncertain location into access authority or conduct unrestricted monitoring.

Availability & deployment context

Live Visitor Tracking is ecosystem direction. Current gate history is not live GPS location, and this page does not claim a working tracking integration.

Capability availability may vary by estate, deployment and release phase.

A demonstration should establish which workflows are applicable to your Estate, who is authorized to use them and what integration or release conditions still apply. Illustrations on this page are conceptual, not customer records, live metrics or operational controls.
