Why it matters
Community Engagement, in context.
Community conversations work best when people understand where they belong and who can see them. Public social tools can blur those boundaries, while scattered private groups can make it difficult to find the relevant discussion or distinguish it from a service request.
The Estalink approach
A considered way forward.
Estalink provides scoped community interactions and replies alongside everyday Resident workflows. This is not an unrestricted social network. The current user, active Estate and permitted context continue to determine what is available, including when a screen refreshes or an account changes.
The Community surface belongs in the same reliable mobile experience as Help Desk and notifications. Loading and stale-result protections support continuity without inventing data when the network is unavailable. A failed refresh should remain distinguishable from a genuine empty community, and cached-looking presentation must not override the current authority.
The workflow
From context to the next step.
Enter the right community
Open the protected surface in the authenticated context. A link or retained screen must not expose another Estate's conversation.
Find the discussion
Use the current community workflow rather than treating a service issue or security incident as general public content. Each destination has a different purpose.
Reply in context
Keep contributions attached to the appropriate conversation and governed mutation flow. Account replacement must not publish a stale result into the new user's screen.
Stay oriented
Return through the correct navigation and current record. Updates support awareness, but they do not guarantee that every member has seen or acted on a message.
Capability focus
What connects here.
- Scoped community interactions
- Contextual replies
- Protected Resident navigation
- Explicit loading and error states
- No unrestricted social-network assumption
Designed for people
Clear responsibilities.
- Residents
- Authorized community participants
- Estate teams within their permitted scope
In-App Communication explains the supported channels. Help Desk is the destination for service requests. Smart Notifications connects governed events to awareness without becoming the conversation itself.
Estate AI-OS relationship
Insight without taking authority.
A future community overview could help people find relevant information. It cannot speak for users, publish content or reveal conversations outside their permissions.

Scoped community interactions and replies are core. Public social feeds, unrestricted messaging, calling and autonomous moderation are not current capabilities claimed here.
Capability availability may vary by estate, deployment and release phase.
A demonstration should establish which workflows are applicable to your Estate, who is authorized to use them and what integration or release conditions still apply. Illustrations on this page are conceptual, not customer records, live metrics or operational controls.
